Toy Mountain 2016

The Oldford Team is happy to use its Real Estate office at 530 Main Street, Winchester as a drop-off point for the 2016 Toy Mountain campaign!

Taking part is easy! Simply donate a new, unwrapped toy and you will help make this Christmas a special one for girls and boys in need.  This year alone, the Salvation Army expects to help 16,000 children in the Ottawa region. Girls and boys requiring help range from the age of newborn to 12 years old.

We will also be picking up toys along the parade route at the December 3rd (6p.m. start) Parade of Lights in Winchester and the December 11th (2p.m. start) Christmas Parade in Metcalfe.

How can I help Toy Mountain?

As an individual:  Simply purchase and donate an unwrapped toy.  Drop off to the Oldford Team Real Estate office at 530 Main St, Winchester or see drop-off locations. For gift ideas, please download this Christmas Shopping List. (Right click on the link and “save as…” to download the file).

As a volunteer: Please contact kristine_farnel@ottawaboothcentre.org to volunteer at the Toy Mountain warehouse.

I need toys for my children…How do I register?

If you are on Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program, your worker can register you for Toy Mountain.

If you are not on OW or ODSP, please call 2-1-1. They will be able to direct you to one of the city’s Community Resource Centres or they can tell you the best place for you to register as there are many organizations that will register on your behalf.
